Move-in Day on Wright State\u2019s Dayton Campus began at 9 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 24, as 1,300 new students arrived at their new home.<\/p>\n
Much of the Wright State community turned out to help new students move into 29 residence halls and on-campus apartments.<\/p>\n
A total 2,500 students, including returning students and upperclassmen, are expected to fill the residence halls and campus apartments<\/a>.<\/p>\n Move-In Day included 110 golf carts, a fleet of luggage rollers, about 200 staff and faculty volunteers and 300 student volunteers<\/p>\n Wright-Patt Credit Union supports Move-In Day by providing volunteers and funding.<\/p>\n The first day of the fall semester is Monday, Aug. 28.<\/p>\n Wright State became an independent institution in 1967 and spent the next 50 years growing into an innovative leader in affordable and accessible education.
