{"id":47947,"date":"2017-09-21T08:59:02","date_gmt":"2017-09-21T12:59:02","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/webapp2.wright.edu\/web1\/newsroom\/?p=47947"},"modified":"2017-09-21T08:59:02","modified_gmt":"2017-09-21T12:59:02","slug":"spreading-love","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/webapp2.wright.edu\/web1\/newsroom\/2017\/09\/21\/spreading-love\/","title":{"rendered":"Spreading love"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Grant Benzinger, a senior guard on the <a href=\"http:\/\/wsuraiders.com\/index.aspx?path=mbball\">Wright State men\u2019s basketball team<\/a>, recently returned from a 13-day trip to China with Athletes in Action.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt was awesome. I wouldn\u2019t trade it for the world,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Benzinger traveled with other college basketball players from around the country through Athletes in Action, a group that promotes faith through sports.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe giving and receiving of love is the two most important life skills, and I don\u2019t want college basketball players to stink at that,\u201d said Morris Michalski, a basketball specialist with Athletes in Action.<\/p>\n<p>Athletes in Action played six games against Chinese professional teams, finishing with a record of 4-1-1.
