WRHI works in collaboration with the Wright State University Lake Campus, located in Celina, Ohio, on Grand Lake St. Marys. It provides medical students from the Boonshoft School of Medicine in Dayton, Ohio, with opportunities to complete clinical experiences in West Central Ohio.<\/p>\n<p>Danny Keltner of Germantown, Ohio, is beginning a two-week orthopaedic surgery experience with James E. Kemmler, M.D., of Kemmler Orthopaedic Center in Celina. In March, he will start a four-week general surgery rotation at St. Marys Surgical Associates with K. Lance Bryant, D.O., and Robert D. Keighley, D.O. Keltner completed a clinical rotation in January at Grand Lake Health System in pediatrics with Efren Aganon, M.D., and Thomas Zegarski, M.D. Keltner is a third-year medical student. He earned his bachelor\u2019s degree in biology from Wright State University.<\/p>\n<p>Dexter Nye of Windsor, Ohio, is beginning a clinical rotation in obstetrics and gynecology at Grand Lake Health System with Polly Train, M.D., and Mohamed El Nemr, M.D. Nye is a third-year medical student. He earned his bachelor\u2019s degree in exercise science at Brigham Young University.<\/p>\n<p>Both Keltner and Nye also completed clinical rotations in family medicine through the Wright Rural Health Initiative.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_50665\" style=\"width: 224px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-50665\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-50665\" src=\"http:\/\/webapp2.wright.edu\/web1\/newsroom\/files\/2018\/02\/Nye2c-Dexter-214x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"214\" height=\"300\" \/><p id=\"caption-attachment-50665\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Dexter Nye<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Grand Lake Health System, Kemmler Orthopaedic Center, Mercer Health and St. Marys Surgical Associates are active and valued supporters of the Wright Rural Health Initiative, which strives to increase the number of health care providers choosing to practice in rural areas, particularly in West Central Ohio.
