He is  an aspiring Biomedical Engineering major and was chosen through an essay  contest addressing the theme \u201cHow will your degree affect the legacy  you leave at the end of your career?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Lisa Barhorst, Vice  President and General Manager of WDTN-TV and Dayton\u2019s CW expressed that  \u201cWe are excited for Richard and his legacy he will leave.
