camp.\n\t\t\t\t<\/dd><\/dl><dl class='gallery-item'>\n\t\t\t<dt class='gallery-icon landscape'>\n\t\t\t\t<a href='https:\/\/webapp2.wright.edu\/web1\/newsroom\/2011\/07\/08\/pre-college-students-became-toymakers-go-on-safari-learn-to-sew\/pre-college-camps4\/'><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"126\" height=\"90\" src=\"https:\/\/webapp2.wright.edu\/web1\/newsroom\/files\/2011\/07\/Pre-college-camps4-140x100.jpg\" class=\"attachment-thumbnail size-thumbnail\" alt=\"Photo of two girls framed by the shape of a sewing machine in the foreground.\" aria-describedby=\"gallery-1-6405\" \/><\/a>\n\t\t\t<\/dt>\n\t\t\t\t<dd class='wp-caption-text gallery-caption' id='gallery-1-6405'>\n\t\t\t\tAlison Linch and Baylee Thomas were happy testing their skills on the sewing machine.\n\t\t\t\t<\/dd><\/dl><br style=\"clear: both\" \/>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\n<p>The Office of Pre-College Programs offers a wide variety of week-long learning opportunities that began on June 13, and it\u2019s time to register for summer camps at Wright State University for kindergarten through 12th grade students.<\/p>\n<p>These photographs are from the first session of pre-college camps.<\/p>\n<p>The Discovery\/Odyssey programs are designed for K\u20139 grade students in such fields as: science, mathematics, foreign languages, the arts, the humanities and computer technology. Classes are planned from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, with extended care available. Select courses for the gifted and talented will also be included.<\/p>\n<p>Residential camps and institutes are set for sixth to 12th graders. The participants live on campus for the week-long programs and are supervised by trained residential staff 24 hours a day.
