WYSO features Wright State artist"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>((Excerpt))<\/p>\n<p>Why Are the Walls Screaming?&#8221; is the  title of an art show up now in the Yellow Springs Arts Council Gallery.  The artist, Wright State student Tony Powers, is a synesthete. (sin-uh s-theet) That means,  when Powers hears a sound, he also sees an image \u2013 superimposed over the  visual reality most people perceive. Powers&#8217; artwork is an attempt to  show the world what he sees when he hears.
