Bryan Beverly, senior digital technology analyst and project manager in the Center for Teaching and Learning, said he thoroughly enjoys Jones&#8217; company and greatly appreciates her contribution to Wright State.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cShe genuinely cares about the cleanliness and appearance of Wright State,\u201d he said. \u201cHer enthusiastic actions and can-do spirit is a model for others at Wright State to emulate and has not gone unnoticed by staff in the areas she has served.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Jones tries to connect with everybody, including visitors to the Center for Teaching and Learning. She has a modest and selfless personality, often choosing to act for others before herself. She also has a great work ethic, often going far beyond her necessary cleaning duties to focus on an area that might need extra attention.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt is folks like Jones who make you truly appreciate some of the basic services performed around us in our everyday work life that we usually take for granted,\u201d Beverly said. \u201cShe does not expect nor does she seek out extra reward or recognition when we gave it to her. She deserves our appreciation.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Jones displays a strong commitment to the Wright State community through her interactions with students, staff and faculty and her generous involvement in campus projects.<\/p>\n<p>Carolyn Stoermer, teaching innovation coordinator for the Center for Teaching and Learning, values Jones\u2019 outgoing personality and hardworking spirit. As the faculty advisor to the English Club, Stoermer notes that Jones often participates in club events by making treats for bake sales, donating to fundraisers and donating a significant number of books for a book drive.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHer support of these students&#8217; efforts meant a lot to the club members and to me. The books surely meant a great deal to the many children they went to for the holidays,\u201d Stoermer said.<\/p>\n<p>Jones\u2019 attitude towards everyone around her is highly commendable.
