We Serve U is working with area nonprofits to respond to community needs with two donation drives on campus.<\/p>\n
The donation drives will benefit Raid Our Closet, a Wright State organization that provides students with free professional attire for the workplace, and Crayons to Classrooms, which distributes school supplies at no cost to teachers of students in need.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe Serve U has blossomed into an organization that does a lot to help the community,\u201d said Joanie Hendricks, co-chair of We Serve U.<\/p>\n
The We Serve U donation drive goes through July 18.\u00a0 Drop off your donations in Rike Hall, Dunbar Library or the Student Union Bookstore.<\/p>\n
A list of items in need is available on the We Serve U website<\/a>.<\/p>\n We Serve U is also coordinating We Serve U Day on July 19, which provides employees and students with several volunteer opportunities without using leave time.
