Tanner Holden, Jordan Ash, Andre Harris, TJ Nagy, Trey Calvin, Aleksandar Dozic and Tim Finke have only been on Wright State University\u2019s campus for a few weeks, but they are quickly finding their footing while adding depth to the Raiders roster.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe got seven new guys with the freshman and transfers,\u201d said Cole Gentry, a senior guard and team veteran. \u201cIt\u2019s important for us older guys to help them out.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cEverybody\u2019s fitting in pretty well,\u201d said Jordan Ash, a senior transfer from Northwestern University. \u201cI wanted to go somewhere I can play and have a chance to have a big year, a big role on a really good team.\u201d<\/p>\n
The\u00a0<\/span>men\u2019s basketball team<\/a>\u00a0<\/span>has been working out four days a week and lifting weights to prepare for the 2019-2020 season.<\/p>\n \u201cI know we are going to be good this year,\u201d said Trey Calvin, a freshman guard from Chicago.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s good to be in a winning environment,\u201d\u00a0said Aleksandar Dozic, a senior transfer who is native to Podgorica, Montenegro. \u201cEverything about school is perfect so far.\u201d<\/p>\n The seven new additions will make it competitive within the team. \u201cIf you\u2019re not playing hard or playing well there will be another player that is willing to do it now,\u201d said Gentry.<\/p>\n The summer workouts concluded Aug. 1.
