They learned the ABC\u2019s of bleeding: alerting 911, finding the blood source and applying a compress.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI had heard about packing wounds but know I can do that,\u201d said Branden Kappes, a freshman pre-nursing major.<\/p>\n<p>Each participant received a certificate of completion. The Stop the Bleed campaign has trained more than 1 million people around the world.<\/p>\n<p>Two additional Stop the Bleed training sessions are planned for later this semester.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Wright State College of Nursing and Health hosted an hourlong training session for students, faculty and staff to save lives.
