{"id":79137,"date":"2019-12-09T12:46:12","date_gmt":"2019-12-09T17:46:12","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/webapp2.wright.edu\/web1\/newsroom\/?p=79137"},"modified":"2019-12-09T12:46:12","modified_gmt":"2019-12-09T17:46:12","slug":"stress-relievers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/webapp2.wright.edu\/web1\/newsroom\/2019\/12\/09\/stress-relievers\/","title":{"rendered":"Stress relievers"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Wright State University students feeling the pressure during the last week of fall semester\u2019s classes and finals week found special stress-relief activities at\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/libraries.wright.edu\/\">Dunbar Library<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>DeStress for Success is a series of programs and activities offered from Dec. 2 to 12 designed to help students relax and enable them to develop good mental and emotional health practices.<\/p>\n<p>The program features 13 activities, including a FitDesk Relay, meditation stations, mindfulness yoga, button making, coloring and the very popular Fuzz Therapy. Various activities are planned each day, with the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.libraries.wright.edu\/community\/blog\/2019\/11\/14\/destress-for-success\/\">full daily schedule available on the University Library\u2019s blog<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Students cuddled with 10 puppies during the De. 6 Fuzz Therapy event, which was coordinated by\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/orgsync.com\/46573\/chapter\">4 Paws WSU<\/a>, a student organization that fosters and co-handles puppies in conjunction with\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/4pawsforability.org\/\">4 Paws for Ability<\/a>\u00a0in Xenia.
