Jennifer Daniels is the new director of the Clinical Trials Research Alliance.<\/p><\/div>\n

Jennifer Daniels has been named director of the Wright State University and Premier Health Clinical Trials Research Alliance (CTRA)<\/a>.<\/p>\n

CTRA conducts clinical trials throughout Southwest Ohio in a variety of health care areas. The public-private initiative was founded in 2012 by the Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine<\/a>, Wright State Research Institute and Premier Health.<\/p>\n

Daniels is a knowledgeable researcher with more than 19 years of experience. As director of the CTRA, Daniels is responsible for oversight of clinical research activities, including clinical trials at Premier Health hospital campuses, practice sites of Wright State Physicians and additional community clinic locations.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am excited to join the Boonshoft School of Medicine because of the emphasis and value the institution places on the quality of its research endeavors,\u201d Daniels said.<\/p>\n

Before joining the CTRA, Daniels was the clinical research regulatory manager at the University of Cincinnati (UC) and UC Health. She oversaw clinical research regulatory affairs and compliance within the university and supported all medical divisions from study start-up to closeout. In this role, she developed several educational and compliance training programs and built a successful fee-for-service research model.<\/p>\n

At UC, Daniels also served as the former senior clinical research regulatory affairs professional for the university\u2019s Department of Internal Medicine and its Division of Cardiovascular Health and Disease. She provided comprehensive regulatory support services in the role and served as a resource for ethical and procedural issues.<\/p>\n

Daniels previously served as a senior clinical research coordinator for the UC Physicians Company. In the position, she was responsible for day-to-day management of both pharmaceutical industry and investigator-initiated research studies for the university\u2019s Department of Psychiatry Division of Bipolar Disorders Research.<\/p>\n

Daniels\u2019 experience and interest align perfectly in her new position with the CTRA. She is enthusiastic about helping researchers, students, faculty and staff who collaborate with the CTRA. Daniels has a true passion for scientific discovery and built her career in research.<\/p>\n

\u201cWith the CTRA\u2019s extensive infrastructure, I hope to strengthen faculty skills and education in clinical trials research and broaden their scope,\u201d Daniels said. \u201cI enjoy engaging individuals and increasing their excitement about research.\u201d<\/p>\n

Daniels holds a Bachelor of Arts from Wittenberg University and a Master of Science from Western Washington University.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
