Hopkins, president. That effort has already resulted in millions of  dollars in research contracts. \u201cAdvancing knowledge is fundamental to  what we do,\u201d Hopkins said. \u201cWe are engaging with companies to help solve  problems and grow their business.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Colleges  and universities aren\u2019t just leveraging research for economic\u2028reasons.  Community colleges like Sinclair have become essential for training a  work force to meet the evolving needs of current and prospective  businesses.
