Can you write code faster than Fox can cancel your favorite TV show? Do you dream in regular expressions? Can you wrestle terabytes of data into submission with a single line of code?<\/p>\n

If you said yes to any of these questions, and you\u2019d like to do something Saturday other than hang out in your basement playing WoW, \u201cGet Ready to Program\u201d might be your kind of party.<\/p>\n

The event is sponsored by the Wright State student chapter of the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) and Reynolds and Reynolds, and will be held Saturday, Oct. 8, on the second floor of the Joshi Atrium.<\/p>\n

Teams of two will compete to solve as many programming problems as possible during the three-hour competition. If you don’t have a teammate, don\u2019t worry. Going solo is cool too. Java or C++ will be used to solve the problems.<\/p>\n

Sign-in is at 9 a.m. Expect the challenge to finish up around 1 p.m., with lunch included.<\/p>\n

Contestants should read the PC2<\/sup> Guide<\/a> before the contest. It describes the basic operation of the software used during the contest.<\/p>\n
