Seraph Brass will give a recital performance on March 10 at 8 p.m. in Schuster Hall in the Creative Arts Center.<\/p><\/div>\n

Seraph Brass, an ensemble drawing from a roster of America\u2019s top female brass players, will hold a clinic and performance master classes and put on a recital at Wright State University.<\/p>\n

The activities will be held on March 10 and 11 at Wright State’s Creative Arts Center.<\/p>\n

It is part of \u201cRISING: Women in American Culture since Suffrage<\/a>,\u201d a semester-long commemoration of the 100th anniversary of the 19th Amendment, sponsored by CELIA, the Ohio Center of Excellence for Collaborative Education, Leadership and Innovation in the Arts.<\/p>\n

Committed to engaging audiences with captivating programming, Seraph Brass presents a diverse repertoire that includes original transcriptions, newly commissioned works and well-known classics. Seraph Brass released its debut studio album, \u201cAsteria,\u201d on Summit Records in 2018, winning a Silver Medal Global Music Award.<\/p>\n

While at Wright State the group will present a clinic, a recital and performance master classes.<\/p>\n

Tuesday, March 10<\/strong><\/h4>\n

12:30\u20131:30 p.m.:<\/strong> Brass Quintet Chamber Music Coaching. Schuster Hall. Free and open to the public.<\/p>\n

2\u20133:30 p.m.: Clinic: Musical Entrepreneurship. 180 Creative Arts Center. Free and open to the public.<\/p>\n

8 p.m.: Recital Performance. Schuster Hall. Tickets available at the Creative Arts Center Box Office or on the Wright State website<\/a>. Tickets are $15 for general admission and $5 for students with an ID. Wright State students will be admitted free.<\/p>\n

Wednesday, March 11<\/strong><\/h4>\n

11:15 a.m.\u201312:10 p.m.: Brass Performance Master Classes. Free and open to the public. Trumpets: 104 Creative Arts Center. Trombones: 180 Creative Arts Center. Horns: Recital Hall. Tuba and Euphonium: Schuster Hall.<\/p>\n

Sunday, March 15<\/strong><\/p>\n
