FAIRBORN \u2014 The angst over politicians\u2019 ties to big business and Wall Street has spilled over to colleges and universities with an \u201cOccupy Wright State University\u201d event scheduled for today.<\/p>\n
The meeting set for 4:30 p.m. on the campus quad is the latest iteration of the \u201coccupy\u201d movement that spread from New York City to downtowns and college campuses across the country, including downtown Dayton.<\/p>\n
The first WSU event was held by a handful of students Oct. 13. The meetings have a \u201cgeneral assembly\u201d format where students, faculty and others can discuss issues and agree on ways to petition government officials to address their concerns, said Jolene Pohl, a WSU graduate student who attended.<\/p>\n
