{"id":85489,"date":"2020-04-15T10:33:01","date_gmt":"2020-04-15T14:33:01","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/webapp2.wright.edu\/web1\/newsroom\/?p=85489"},"modified":"2020-04-15T11:31:15","modified_gmt":"2020-04-15T15:31:15","slug":"high-tech-help","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/webapp2.wright.edu\/web1\/newsroom\/2020\/04\/15\/high-tech-help\/","title":{"rendered":"High tech help"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Hundreds of used laptops, cameras and smartphones are in the hands of students from Wright State University and Sinclair Community College thanks to a Wright State initiative.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEveryone that we\u2019ve encountered and have worked with so far have been very appreciative,\u201d said Kenneth Coon, associate chief information officer at Wright State.<\/p>\n<p>The technology loan program was launched by Wright State\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wright.edu\/information-technology\">Computing and Telecommunications Services (CaTS)<\/a> to help students, faculty and staff with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wright.edu\/information-technology\/cats-remote-support-information\">remote delivery classes and off-site work<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Nearly 300 pieces of equipment have been checked out, including more than 200 laptops.
