\"\"Prospective students can connect with faculty and current students and explore potential majors during Wright State University’s online Spotlight series<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Spotlight is a series of live virtual events that offer high school students and transfer students a chance to learn more about Wright State and interact with faculty, staff and current students.<\/p>\n

The free Spotlight events are open to both high school and transfer students at any stage of the application process.<\/p>\n

Individual events are scheduled for Business, Nursing and Health, Science and Mathematics, Engineering and Computer Science, Liberal Arts, and Education and Human Services.<\/p>\n

\u201cThrough the Wright State Spotlight series, you have the opportunity to experience our campus and community in a live and interactive format wherever you are,” said Lucas Abromowitz, assistant director of transfer recruitment. “You will get a personal connection to Wright State faculty, staff, and current students, and learn more about being a Raider!”<\/p>\n

The Wright State Spotlight began as a series of successful in-person events at Sinclair College connecting transfer students to Wright State faculty and advisors in the fall of 2019.<\/p>\n

“We wanted to continue helping students and connecting them in the ways that they crave, so this was an opportunity to be innovative and deliver a virtual experience to students for the current situation,” Abromowitz said.<\/p>\n

Prospective students can attend any Spotlight event based on their interests. Those who register for an event will receive a fee waiver code for their undergraduate admissions application.<\/p>\n

Spotlight schedule:<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Raj Soin College of Business<\/a>
\n<\/strong>Tuesday, April 14
\n<\/strong>5\u20136 p.m.
\n<\/strong>Learn about the college’s state-of-the-art facilities like the Soin Trading Center and the Data Analytics and Visualization Lab, as well as its nationally recognized and regionally accredited business programs.

College of Nursing and Health<\/a>
\n<\/strong>Wednesday, April 15
\n<\/strong>5\u20136 p.m.
\n<\/strong>Learn about services, tutoring and programs offered by the College of Nursing and Health. The college’s strong community partnerships with area hospitals, clinics, health services and centers mean students will gain the real-world experience they need to succeed.
