The annual Forty Under 40 list honors the region\u2019s brightest young professionals.<\/p>\n<p>The honorees include Kunal Swani, associate professor of <a href=\"https:\/\/business.wright.edu\/marketing\">marketing<\/a>, and Ashley Browning, project manager for the <a href=\"https:\/\/medicine.wright.edu\/sardi\">Substance Abuse Resources and Disability Issues (SARDI) Program<\/a> in the Wright State <a href=\"https:\/\/medicine.wright.edu\/\">Boonshoft School of Medicine<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Swani joined the Wright State <a href=\"https:\/\/business.wright.edu\/\">Raj Soin College of Business<\/a> in 2014 and was promoted to his current title in 2018. He teaches courses on such topics as marketing research, integrated marketing communications, and viral and social media marketing. Swani received a 2018 Presidential Award for Faculty Excellence: Early Career Achievement.<\/p>\n<p>He serves as an associate editor of the business-to-business research track for the Journal of Business Research. He is also an editorial board member for Industrial Marketing Management and the Journal of Marketing Analytics.<\/p>\n<p>Swani received his bachelor&#8217;s degree in engineering from Pune University, his M.B.A. from Hofstra University and his Ph.D. in marketing from the University of Massachusetts-Amherst.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_91971\" style=\"width: 270px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><a href=\"https:\/\/webapp2.wright.edu\/web1\/newsroom\/50981-jim-hannah-grad-student-ashley-browning-7-23-19-3\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-91971\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-91971\" src=\"https:\/\/webapp2.wright.edu\/web1\/newsroom\/files\/2020\/07\/ashley-browning-50981_001-260x286.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"260\" height=\"286\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-91971\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Ashley Browning, project manager for the Substance Abuse Resources and Disability Issues (SARDI) Program and founder of SoLoved.<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Browning oversees a grant program in the Department of Population and Health Sciences that educates college students about HIV and other sexually transmitted diseases. She is pursuing a <a href=\"https:\/\/liberal-arts.wright.edu\/school-of-public-and-international-affairs\/nonprofit-administration-certificate\">certificate in nonprofit administration<\/a> from the Wright State School of Public and International Affairs.<\/p>\n<p>Browning is the founder of SoLoved, a project-based organization that assists different populations through community outreach with monthly initiatives. Her work included organizing a community effort to collect and distribute everything from school supplies to toys to food and hygiene products for survivors of the 2019 Memorial Day tornados.<\/p>\n<p>She received her bachelor&#8217;s degree in criminal justice from Kentucky State University, her master\u2019s degree in rehabilitation counseling from the University of Kentucky and a certificate in chemical dependency from Union College.<\/p>\n<p>Alumni named to the 2020 Forty Under 40 list:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Zachary Beck<\/strong>, chief development officer, Sinclair Foundation, Sinclair Community College<br \/>\nBachelor&#8217;s in financial services, 2013;
