In the background is Infamy\u2014December 7, 1941, an exhibit of photographs depicting the bombing of Pearl Harbor by Japan.<\/p><\/div>\n<p>The Wright State University Friends of the Libraries display <em>Infamy\u2014December 7, 1941<\/em>, attracted local news attention Wednesday, December 7, as journalists across the Miami Valley sought to localize the 70th anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor.<\/p>\n<p>The exhibit will be on display through December 14th.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are honored to bring this 70th anniversary exhibit to Dayton and to commemorate the amazing experiences and deeds of the veterans and citizens who helped pull this country through WWII,\u201d said Ellen Reinsch Friese, president of the Friends of the Libraries\u2019 Board.<\/p>\n<p>The exhibit was created by The National WWII Museum in New Orleans.<\/p>\n<p>The exhibit is located in the second floor atrium of Wright State\u2019s Paul Laurence Dunbar Library. Associated exhibits featuring memories and artifacts from Miami Valley veterans, including eyewitness Frank Ruby of Dayton and the Libraries\u2019 Special Collections &amp; Archives will be displayed on the first floor.<\/p>\n<p>The exhibit is during the Library\u2019s regular hours: Sunday 1\u20139 p.m.; Monday\u2013Thursday 8 a.m.\u20138 p.m.; Saturday 10 a.m.\u20136 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>Parking is free and available near the building. Weekday visitors arriving during the daytime are asked to obtain a visitor parking pass from the parking booth located outside of the Student Union.<\/p>\n<p>Friends of the Libraries\u2019 membership supports the Libraries\u2019 services, facilities, staff and resources.
