Also in 2012, Wright State hosted its first Race, Class, Gender, Sexuality Symposium. Organized and sponsored by the Women’s Center, Women’s Studies program, and African and African American Studies program, the symposium highlighted the interdisciplinary academic work of over 50 student and faculty presenters. Kimberly Springer, Ph.D., associate professor of women’s, gender, and sexuality studies at The Ohio State University, presented the keynote address.
