In coming weeks, students can explore on-campus job opportunities online

Whether physical or virtual, job fairs for students are a unique opportunity for students to make inroads with area companies.

Finding a job has never been easier for students! The Student Employment Virtual Job Fair will open up the lines of communication between on-campus employers and students.

Now until July 27, students can simply go online to the Wright Search to peruse the job opportunities for on-campus employment beginning Fall 2012. Posted in a easy-to-use time table, job listings will detail the interview and selection process, job offer target dates, training times and start dates.

Student opportunities are available everywhere: from the Office of the President to the Dunbar Library to the Campus Recreation Center, Career Services predicts there will be wide range of available jobs: up to 250 positions.

Offered as a convenience for students, the Virtual Job Fair also gives students elaborate descriptions of each job listing. By not having to meet in person with the potential employers, students can relax as they decide which job would suit them best, alleviating the pressures that come with face-to-face interviews.

Although this electronic service is targeted at incoming freshmen, all Wright State students eligible to work in the 2012-2013 academic year will have access to the Virtual Job Fair.
