Wright State receives grant to improve wheelchair sports

Wright State University has received a $13,000 grant to enhance its adaptive recreation program.

The grant, from the Christopher & Diana Reeve Foundation, will go towards 15 new wheelchairs to be used in wheelchair sports.

“Our students with disabilities have always appreciated the chance to play alongside their friends in wheelchair sports activities, and the new wheelchairs will allow for that to happen,” said Drew Corbett, associate director of campus recreation, in a news release.
