Video: Move-in day is a big day at Wright State

With the help of 440 volunteers, 110 golf carts, and the college president, it was move-in day Thursday for 1400 students who will be living on-campus at Wright State University.

“My job is to be the cheerleader. To welcome them, to fire them up about what their possibilities are and what they can achieve here at Wright State,” said WSU president Dr. David Hopkins.

Hopkins said new housing is helping boost on-campus numbers amongst freshmen and sophomores.

“It’s nice to know that there’s a lot of people our age that will be here that are going through the same experiences,” said incoming student Taylor Crowe.
