Wright State director wins best small business counselor in state

Earl Gregorich

As director of Wright State’s Small Business Development Center, Earl Gregorich heads an office that averages at least 25 business startups every year, the retention of 500 to 600 jobs, and sees up to $5 million in capital investments.

Earl Gregorich is on his third successful small business. His other job — director of the Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at Wright State University — just extends that.

Gregorich’s small businesses include Put It On Paper, Internet Sales Plus LLC and he currently runs Tactical Insights LLC. Recently, he won the Ohio SBDC Star Award, the award for the best SBDC counselor in the state.

“(Entrepreneurship) is the thrill of doing something new,” Gregorich said. “Something with unknown potential.”
