Wright State University’s Asian/Hispanic/Native American Center celebrated the “Year of the Rabbit” at its annual Lunar New Year celebration.
The event was packed with cultural activities that featured dance, music, cuisine and more from China and Vietnam, the two Asian countries that celebrate the Lunar New Year.
Chinese language students from the Miami Valley School sang in Chinese during a presentation where students danced and performed skits.
Those who attended ate authentic Chinese food, participated in crafts and learned about tradition passed down through centuries of Asian culture.
