A broad partnership was effective in protecting Wright-Patterson Air Force Base during the last BRAC process, and that lesson can be applied as the base faces potentially devastating cuts this time around.
That was the message from retired U.S. Air Force General Lester Lyles, former commander of Air Force Materiel Command, at the Dayton Business Journal’s annual Defense Forum held Thursday morning at Sinclair Community College.
