6 Ohio schools join veterans medical care research

The Columbus Dispatch reports that the Ohio medical schools that are on board include those at Ohio State, Ohio University, Case Western Reserve University, the University of Cincinnati, the University of Toledo and Wright State University.

The Defense Department estimates nearly 213,000 military personnel have suffered traumatic brain injuries in Iraq and Afghanistan since 2000.
