DAYTON — Capping a two-year search, Dr. Kenneth J. Gaines on May 1 becomes chair of the new neurology department at Wright State University’s Boonshoft School of Medicine.
The medical school and Premier Health Partners, who are partnering on a neuroscience institute, announced his appointment late Wednesday. Premier has committed $4.3 million over five years to help fund the new department.
Gaines will also serve as professor of neurology at the Boonshoft School of Medicine and as director of special projects: clinical neuroscience development at Premier.
