Wright State University’s Special Collections & Archives Department at its Paul Laurence Dunbar Library has shown great commitment to preserving flood history, Manuszak said.
“We’ve created a traveling exhibit on the flood that organizations can borrow for free for up to to two weeks,” archivist Lisa Rickey said. “We created the exhibit to try to share the story of the flood using primary sources and chose to do a traveling exhibit to reach more people.” The three panels focus on the City of Dayton, trace the story of the flood and include the story of the Conservancy District.
