The Office of Pre-College Programs offers a wide variety of week-long learning opportunities for K–12 students “camping” at Wright State University this summer. The pictures from this group of summer enrichment programs, Camp Discovery for K–6 students and Camp Odyssey for students in grades 7–9, are from the session that began June 24.
The programs are designed for students to engage in such fields as science, mathematics, foreign languages, the arts, the humanities and computer technology. Classes are held from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, with extended care available. Select courses for the gifted and talented are also available.
Residential camps and institutes are set for sixth to 12th graders. Participants live on campus for the week-long programs and are supervised by a trained residential staff 24 hours a day. Courses are available in engineering, archaeology, creative writing, law and politics, leadership, mathematics, science, theatre and more.
More information is available online or by contacting the Office of Pre-College Programs at (937) 775-3135.
