A national car-sharing company made its debut the Dayton region this week as Zipcar began service at Wright State University.
The company, which rents vehicles for as little as an hour or for days at a time, is starting service with two cars near the front of the Student Union.
“It’s going to benefit a large group of students, whether it’s residents who don’t come to campus with cars or international students who come across the water and don’t have cars,” said Kyle Powell, current vice president and president-elect of the university’s Student Government.
