Homecoming week on Wright State’s Dayton Campus

The annual chili cookoff, both a men’s and a women’s basketball game, the Alumni Achievement Awards and a Homecoming Dance will highlight Wright State University’s packed Homecoming week on the Dayton Campus Feb. 14–17.

“Homecoming is a time for current and former students to connect with each other and the university’s faculty and staff and celebrate the Raider spirit that connects us all,” said Greg Scharer, executive director of alumni relations.

It is the second year since Wright State pivoted Homecoming week from the fall to the Spring Semester, aligning it with Wright State men’s and women’s basketball games while also allowing more student organizations to participate in activities.

“Homecoming is about connections — to one another and to our alma mater,” said Courtney Laukitis, program manager for student organizations in the Office of Student Involvement and Leadership. “This year’s events are a chance to celebrate the Raider spirit that connects us all as students, employees and alumni.”

Homecoming is presented by the Wright State Alumni Association, Wright State University and Wright State student organizations.
