But he did get his break after he attended Wright State University. Around 1980, he found out that the Colonial Lounge in Piqua wanted to have a cartoon night. The next thing he knew, he was drawing customers one night a week for a year. After that job, he had his own kiosk at the Salem Mall for two years.
