Even with many job seekers in the Dayton area, too many jobs go unfilled, leaders say.
Wright State University’s annual Regional Summit brought about 200 people from academia and government to the Nutter Center on Friday as leaders looked to answer an increasingly urgent question: How can Ohio build a better workforce.
While the first answer was a need to increase the number of Ohio college graduates, workforce requires a multi-faceted approach.
“The world of the 21st century, in terms of workforce needs, is a very different world than the one we served in the 20th century,” said David Hopkins, president of Wright State University.
