Lena White and Brittany Smith have a lot in common. They grew up in Dayton and each has two boys. Smith and White have a passion for still photography and are also Wright State graduates.
White graduated with a bachelor’s degree in sociology in 2008 and Smith with an organizational leadership degree in 2012.
They are also co-owners of Heart on Fifth, which opened recently in downtown Dayton’s Oregon District. Heart on Fifth features handmade items by Daytonians.
“They’re giving back to the community and trying to represent local artist as much as they can,” White said.
