Wright State University program helps teach students to launch businesses

College programs that teach students how to start their own businesses are becoming more popular in part because the sluggish economy is limiting the number of job opportunities at existing businesses, officials said.

Last fall, Wright State created a Master’s in Engineering Innovation and Entrepreneurship program to help students learn how to launch a business as well as attract laid-off workers looking to return to school for skills to advance into another career.
