Wright State University’s robotic lawn-mowing team placed in the top three at the Eighth Annual Robotic Lawn Mower Competition held at Siebenthaler Garden Center last weekend.
The members of the team are:

The Wright State team was the only team to completely trim around the flowerbed, a skill that nearly earned the team first place in the competition.

Students named their robotic lawn mower, “Autonomous WSU Mower Mows Outstandingly and Wonderfully.”

According to the judges of the event, the Wright State team did better than any other team in trimming around the fence and the flowerbed.

Fifteen teams from all over the country participated in the competition and 14 teams qualified to compete in the final competition including a team from Wright State University.
