DAYTON– The Dayton Gems and Students from Wright State University sent a group of people to Joplin, MO Sunday morning.
The group will help with the relief efforts following the devastating tornadoes that hit the city back in May.
“It’s one thing to go out of your way to help somebody, it’s another thing when you get other people to do the same, it’s just a great feeling,” said Ryan Hehr, Director of Communications for The Dayton Gems.
In addition to sending help, the group will also be taking supplies and other items to help those in the area.
