Powers, a senior at Wright State University, is showing a solo exhibition of his artwork at the Yellow Springs Arts Council Gallery through July 24.

“It’s not abstract, expressive or nonrepresentational art,” Powers said. “It’s as close as I can get to a visual representation of things that I actually see when I actually hear.”
