Wright State University’s 2011 Homecoming featured a baked goods battle that might just turn into an annual affair. During Raider Fest at the Rinzler Student Sports Center students participated in Cupcake Wars, a competition guaranteed to satisfy anyone’s sweet tooth.
Teams competed by creating cupcakes, which were judged by local celebrities including Student Government President Paul Reed and the head baker from Gigi’s Cupcakes. Categories for judging included best traditional flavor, best exotic flavor and a special spirit award for cupcakes with Wright State–themed decorations.
