Lecture on first Arab-American novel Tuesday

The Wright State University community has a unique opportunity to learn about the first Arab-American novel written in English at a lecture open to the public at the Student Union.

Ameen Rihani wrote The Book of Khalid a hundred years ago, and educators say its uncanny message still rings true today.

Todd Fine, director of Project Khalid, will speak on the cross-cultural context and influence of Rihani’s landmark novel.

The lecture will be Tuesday, May 10, at 2:30 p.m. at the Rathskellar, E008 Student Union.
