Medicaid expansion and the Affordable Care Act (ACA) Marketplace will be discussed at a Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine Center for Healthy Communities Medicaid Outreach Consortium presentation on Friday, Aug. 1.
The event will be from 8:30 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. at The Job Center, C2 and C3, 1111 S. Edwin C. Moses Blvd. in Dayton.
The presentation will address the differences between Medicaid expansion and the ACA Marketplace. Presenters will explain the Medicaid application process and managed care. Lessons learned and best practices for Medicaid expansion and the ACA Marketplace also will be discussed. In addition, state and local resources for Medicaid expansion and the ACA Marketplace will be available.
Presenters include Trey Daly, Enroll America; Joe Andenoro, Ohio Association of Community Health Centers; Crystal Schultz and Dwayne Woods, Montgomery County Department of Job and Family Services; Joseph Smith, CareSource; Kimberly Conner, Boonshoft School of Medicine Center for Healthy Communities; and Aaron Morman, Stacia Dawson and Carlos Morrison, Community Health Centers of Greater Dayton.
There is a $30 nonrefundable registration fee. Payment must be received by July 18. Space is limited.
