Pumpkin painting provides welcome break

Wright State students gathered at the Millett Hall Atrium to paint pumpkins and take a break from their studies.

The Center for Liberal Arts Student Success (CLASS) provided the pumpkins and the paint while students provided their creativity to decorate the gourds.

“We want them to do well academically, but we know it’s important to take a few minutes and step away from classes,” said Becca Salay, director of student retention in the College of Liberal Arts.

Organizers hoping new events like this will put a focus on student retention and engagement.
