Celebrating quilt stories is the theme of the quilt show held Jan. 28 to Jan. 30 in the Apollo Room of the Student Union at Wright State University.
The third annual show features hundreds of handcrafted quilts. Each quilt is accompanied by a story from the quilt maker, giving guests a glimpse into what inspired each artist.
“Quilts are not just something that are beautiful or an art form. They tell a story,” said Linda Morgan, show organizer.
An auction will be held on Saturday, Jan. 30, with proceeds supporting a Wright State student scholarship.
The show is organized by Wright State’s Women’s, Gender and Sexuality Studies program.
