Second post-election virtual discussion planned for November 10

Wright State University students, faculty and staff are invited to participate in a virtual space to discuss and process the election on Tuesday, November 10, between noon and 3 p.m.

Participants can join the discussion at https://wright.webex.com/meet/mia.honaker, or by phone by dialing 1-415-655-0003 then entering access code 478 945 093.

Students and employees may drop into the space on Webex at any time between noon and 3 p.m. and stay for as long as they like.

The discussion will be facilitated by staff members from the Culture and Identity Centers and other university community members. Live captions will be provided for those who prefer subtitles.

The virtual discussion is organized in partnership between the university’s Culture and Identity Centers and the Inclusive Excellence Programming Committee, which has hosted several online discussions about diversity and racial equality at the university.

The post-election discussion is intended to provide an opportunity for Wright State community members to discuss their thoughts and feelings about the results of the November 3 election.

Participants should be respectful of their peers’ thoughts and opinions. The intent of the sessions is not to be argumentative but to provide a space where Wright State community members can be authentic and share their thoughts and feelings in a civil manner.
