Wright State University students, staff, faculty and alumni enjoyed a Thanksgiving meal together at the 12th annual Raidersgiving.
About 40 volunteers planned the event and prepared the food. Faculty and staff greeted patrons as they enjoyed a buffet-style meal along with music, games, crafts and a chance to win door prizes in the Student Union Apollo Room on Nov. 22.
Raiders had a choice between a traditional Thanksgiving meal, a vegan meal, gluten-free meal or Halal meal.
“I hope people enjoy each other and reflect on things that they’re thankful for,” said Christopher Hogan, community standards and student conduct director and Raidersgiving emcee.
Raidersgiving is sponsored by individual donations; Eric Bigler ’83, ’87; the Wright State University Foundation; and Pepsi. Giveaways and door prizes have been donated by eCampus, Intercollegiate Athletics, Pepsi and local businesses.
