Wright State University’s annual Draw on the Walls event is a chance to express yourself on an open canvas of 600 feet of white gallery walls. Each year, the Robert & Elaine Stein Galleries in the Creative Arts Center opens its doors between exhibitions to give aspiring artists of all ages a chance to put their own work on the walls.
- The 2011 Draw on the Walls event at Wright State was a big hit.
- The walls were lined with paper and a variety of drawing materials were provided.
- Students like Chloe Sizelove expressed their creativity on the gallery walls.
- Emily Ramage used the event to draw a beautiful floral pattern.
- Student Constance Phillips brought her daughter, Sophia, to the kid-friendly event.
- James Matthews participated in the event, which celebrates National Arts and Humanities Month.
- Some artists, like Cherissa L’Ashea, captured their work with cell phones and cameras.
- The event is supported by the Friends of the Galleries and the Ohio Arts Council.
