FAIRBORN — He might just be a freshman whose college career consists of only 10 games now, but Wright State’s Cole Darling never froze up Saturday night …until after the game.
After WSU had toppled visiting Miami, 66-51, the 6-foot-7 forward showered, put on a lavender dress shirt and matching necktie and then, before meeting his parents who were waiting just off the Nutter Center court, he headed to the training room to get two bags of ice.
One was for his shoulder and one was for his right knee, which he had hyper-extended in the first half against Southern a month ago.
