Jeff Ulliman has been named Wright State University’s new vice president for business and finance and chief financial officer, effective Jan. 1.
“Jeff has more than 30 years of accounting and finance experience, exhibits strong skills in financial management and has a track record of leading, managing and motivating employees,” said President David R. Hopkins.
Ulliman has served Wright State for more than 25 years, most recently as associate vice president for financial and business operations. In that position, he has been responsible for all accounting and related activities, finance and treasury activities and financial planning and resource allocations for the university.
Specifically, Ulliman’s responsibilities include accounting, cash receipt and disbursement activities for the offices of the Bursar, Accounts Payable and Payroll. He also oversees tax compliance, banking, investment portfolios and debt issuances. In addition, he develops the university’s annual operating budgets.
Prior to arriving at Wright State in 1990, Ulliman worked as an audit manager for Deloitte & Touche, LLP, in Dayton. He obtained his accounting degree from Miami University in 1982.
